What is Poke??
Poke (pronounced "pokay") originated in Hawaii. In Hawaiian, the word "poke" means "to slice" or "to cut crosswise". Poke began as a snack for fishermen, made using the cut-offs from their catch. The present form of poke became popular in the early 70's. Today, it can be found in restaurants worldwide.

A fresh and fabulous addition to the food scene in our little town, we made the change from fish & chips in October 2023. With a desire to enhance the offerings in Annapolis Royal, we went out on a limb and decided to present an option to suit all tastes and dietary needs. We offer gluten free, dairy free, keto, vegan, and vegetarian options. We've got you covered!! Eat-in (max 6 people) or take out. We also partner with the Annapolis Brewing Company where you can enjoy a local craft beer or cider with our delicious Poke Bowls!
